CASPER, Wyo. — Champions were crowned in the 33rd annual Casper Youth Basketball Tournament on Sunday, March 19. Casper attracted 122 teams, and over 250 games were played over the weekend. Teams traveled from Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska. This annual event positively impacts the local economy with over $1,300,000 of direct spending due to many out-of-town teams traveling to Casper for the weekend, a City of Casper news release states.
