Following lengthy public testimony and an attempt to strip funding, the House Revenue Committee pushed through a bill Thursday that would permanently pay for Wyoming's 988 suicide and crisis lifeline.Testimony lasted for nearly two hours for the bill, which would create a trust fund that would finance the long-term operations of the lifeline, forcing the committee to reconvene in the afternoon so that the many advocates of the bill could speak.Though a handful of those who testified opposed the legislation, they were outnumbered overwhelmingly by those who supported the bill.
